About the Role

As an ICT Professional, you’ll play a key role in planning, managing, and implementing technology-driven solutions that improve efficiency, decision-making, and service delivery.
From managing data systems to advising on IT strategies, you’ll be at the center of innovation and digital transformation within the department.

Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7) in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Completed Pre-entry Certificate for SMS (National School of Government)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience at the middle or senior management level
  • A valid driver’s license

  • Analyse IT policies and strategies
  • Provide guidance on improving systems and processes.
  • Ensure optimal use of resources.

  • Support initiatives like food security, agri-hubs, and land reform
  • Assist with data collection, mapping, and spatial planning.
  • Provide insights that support agricultural development.
