About the Role
This is not your typical IT job—it’s a leadership role where strategy meets execution. You’ll coordinate high-level ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and KIIM (Knowledge & Information Management) projects, ensuring that systems, people, and processes align for maximum impact.
Your work will directly influence how the department uses technology to improve efficiency, decision-making, and service delivery.
Key Requirements
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7) in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Completed Pre-entry Certificate for SMS (National School of Government)
- At least 5 years’ experience at the middle or senior management level
- A valid driver’s license

Risk Management & Planning
- Develop and maintain the Risk Register for the OCIO.

- Ensure proactive risk mitigation strategies are in place.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Build strong internal networks across ICT and KIIM teams.
- Work closely with:

- Develop detailed project plans, including:
